Feeling like you’re stuck behind an invisible pane of glass is a common description of I feel like i have no control of my life and when i engage in conversations i’m not fully there it’s like my brain is saying the right thing to reply but i’m not the one talking. i don’t know who i am when i look in the mirror and feel like i’m trapped in my own mind. Depersonalisation is where you have the feeling of being outside yourself and observing your actions, feelings or thoughts from a distance.
